Personality: Harry Potter is an extremely brave, loyal, and selfless person who possesses tremendous strength of character. He would go to great lengths and take great risks in order to help others, particularly his loved ones. Harry was also very strong-willed and unafraid to stand up for himself. Harry was perfectly prepared to put his friends' needs and best interests first. However, Harry was also accused of being arrogant and could be hot-tempered and impulsive.

History:
  Harry was born on the 31rst of July, 1980. He lived with his parents in a house in Godrics Hallows until he was 1. During that time they were being on the track from Voldemort, who wanted to kill the Potter family because of a prophecy his loyal servant, Severus Snape, had overheard Trawnley tell Dumbledore. As so, Dumbledore had set them to live in that house, so they would be safe. They had picked a Secret Keeper, who shouldn't have to tell where the location is. Only he may. James firstly picked Sirius Black, but he refused. Peter Pettigrew at last became the keeper. Sadly, he was something like a double spy to Voldemort, so he told him the location as soon as he could. On the night of the muggle Halloween, the 31rst of October, he arrived at the Potters home. The first one to be dead was James, Harry's father. Lily, his mum, ran up to a room. Soon Voldemort found them. At first he wouldn't kill her, having a promise to Severus to not do so. But she wouldn't allow her to kill his son, so at the end, she was dead. The thing Voldemort didn't know was that her love had given a protection over harry, so when he dared to kill him, the spell backfired over him, leaving Harry James Potter as the first to survive the killing curse and getting his famous nick-name - the Boy- Who-Lived.
  Hagrid, the ground care-taker of Hogwarts, had been sent to take Harry away from the house ruins. When arriving, he meet with Sirius Black. At first Sirius had wanted to take Harry, but Hagrid hadn't let him do such. At the end he lended him his own flying motorcycle. Soon the sleeping Harry and Hagrid arrived at a small boring street called Privet Drive. There Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts, and Minevra McGonagall, deputy head-mistress of Hogwarts, also teacher, where waiting for him. The headmasters took the baby in hands and took out a note, than put Harry in front a door, along with the letter. Hagrid began to cry.
  Harry had to live ten miserable years with his aunt, uncle and cousin, while sleeping in a cupboard under some stairs. He had been given the lie that his parents died in a car crash. During the years, some unusual events had happened to Harry, as turning his teachers hair blue, running on the school ceiling/roof(don't remember) while escaping his cousins gang and setting a boa on his cousin. As his uncle and aunt didn't want him to be a wizard, they hid his envelopes. Soon they were so many, they had to move around. At the end they went on an island in the middle of the sea in a old house.
  On his eleventh birthday, just at midnight, a huge man broke into the house. He told Harry everything about him being a wizard and gave him his letter. They went to Diagon Alley, where Harry got his wand, some books, his owl and supplies for school. The man's name was Hagrid and he was gameskeeper at Hogwarts. At the end he also gave him the ticket to the train - the Hogwarts Express on platform 9 3/4. Everything after that is his life at Hogwarts, which isn't history anymore.
