it's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right
Despite the threat of heavier rain from the light drizzle that had already started, Howard had still made the venture to the The Three Broomsticks for a drink or two after the long week. Strolling in, the male had eased himself up onto a stool at the bar and ordered some Rum to nurse for a while. He didn't usually fancy drinking heavily, but the man still liked his drink. If he was going to drink, he was bloody well going to drink something worth getting drunk on. Butterbeer just didn't make the cut on any occasions to him, unless absolutely required or called upon for the situation.
Taking a sip from the glass, Howard took a glance around at the place. There wasn't as large of a crowd as usual, but the light rain hadn't deterred too many from coming out for a little unwinding and socializing, but there was still a decent enough crowd. He wasn't particularly looking for a familiar face, but he scanned the crowd anyways. Personally, he didn't care if he ended up drinking the evening away on his own, but a little company never hurt. One was just one, but two was the beginning of a crowd, after all. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to have a chat outside of his class duties, not that he didn't like talking astronomy. He wouldn't be teaching it if he didn't enjoy the subject.
Leaning his elbows back on the bar, the male was content to be where he was for the moment. He didn't really have any plans for the evening or night, and he really didn't expect to get any sort of highly intoxicated at all, but that could change based on the company, of course. With no plans set in stone and no work he really needed to do, the slate was clear for any unexpected changes that might arise.
