Personality: Patience is a person whom most would find unpleasant to be around. Patience is someone whom may seem friendly and polite, but once you get to know her you will see that her pleasant attitude and politeness is merely a facade. Patience in reality is arrogant and prejudiced toward others, seeing most people as inferior to her in both magical ability and intellect. She has a above average intellect, but at the same time, she frequently overestimates her own abilities and underestimate the abilities of her enemies. She is prejudiced toward those born of Muggles and Muggles, she believes that those born of Muggles do not deserve to exist. Patience has a disdain of Half-bloods even though she is one herself, she considers Half bloods are naturally inferior to Purebloods.
As of recent times Patience renounced her support of blood purity. She has also denounced her former ties to the Death Eater's claiming it was a mistake from her younger more impulsive years. She became disillusion with the Blood purity and the Death Eaters when Voldemort disappeared and it seemed that a half blooded child had managed to defeat the Dark Lord. Even though she no longer supports Blood Purity and the Death Eater's, Patience is till a fairly unpleasant person to be around. Her arrogance remains, and at times she will fall back to old prejudices out of habit.
Patience is a aggressive person, and this is shown in her knowledge of spells, she is skilled in the use of spells which can be used to harm and attack others, but at the same time she is mediocre at spells which sole purpose is defense. While Patience values intelligence, and has a disdain for those whom act without thinking, though she is also a hypocrite when it comes to battle, she will put her aggression above her intelligence and this has caused problems for her in the past more than once.
Patience is a intelligent and ambitious person when she uses her mind. Her intellect in dangerous but she will frequently disregard it when angered. When Patience is calm, she is a encyclopedia of knowledge, a person whom you can rely on to give you accurate information. Patience is also hungry for knowledge, she always seek new and interesting things to know about.

Others: History: Patience Aubrey Pyrites is the daughter of Adrian and Margaret Porter nee Pyrites, was born on July the 22nd 1962. Patience's father Adrian was a Muggle born wizard and her mother was a pure blood witch. Her father worked in Muggle relations for the Ministry of Magic and her mother worked as a Obliviator. Patience's parents frequently argued with each other and on occasions one or the other parent would disappear for long times. Patience was a unwanted child by her parents, she was conceived from a fling between her parents. Her father only married her mother due to a sense of duty to his unborn child. When Patience subscribed to the extremist version of blood purity, she started to blame most of her unhappy childhood on her father and that he was born of Muggles. Patience also changed her surname from Porter to Pyrites, the family of her mother which was pureblooded.
Patience was sorted into the Ravenclaw when she attended Hogwarts and always strove to try and be at the top. the reason why she actually wanted to be on the top was to satisfy her own low sense of self esteem due to being a half blood and to try and obtain her parents attention and praise. She never did obtain praise from her parents, but she did grow out of her low self esteem and instead started to look down on those whom were born of Muggles. She had mixed feelings about Half bloods since she was one herself, but in the end she classified them as just as bad as Muggleborns if they did not agree to blood purity, or to be more exact the extremist version of Blood purity.
When Patience graduated from Hogwarts, she was quick to attempt joining the Death eaters, whose ideology she supported. She was a fanatic in supporting the Death Eater's and Voldermort, though she was also careful to avoid breaking any law that would put her permanently in Azkaban if she was ever apprehended by the Ministry of Magic or if the Death Eaters and Voldemort failed in their war. In hindsight this was a smart decision, since when the Death Eater's were defeated by the Ministry of Magic, Patience managed to avoid the fate of many other Death Eaters. While she did not manage to get away from the entire thing without punishment, she did avoid a life sentence in Azkaban. Patience knew she could have attempted to go with the Imperius curse argument that many other Death Eater's went with, she decided against it due to disdain for cowardice.
Patience was imprisoned in Azkaban until 1991 for the crimes which she committed during the Wizarding War in the name of Voldemort. During the years she stayed in Azkaban she grew to be disillusioned with both Blood purity and Voldemort. If Voldemort and Blood purity were superior, why were they defeated by people whom opposed such thoughts? When she was released from Azkaban in 1991, Patience has found that work was near impossible for her to obtain. While she was intelligent and achieved rather high grades while in Hogwarts, people did not want to hire those whom were Death Eaters or associated with Death Eaters.
